Under this year's motto 'The Power of Productivity', around 1,300 exhibitors from 40 countries will showcase the world's largest range of sheet metal working solutions for greater performance and efficiency - with thousands of exhibits on more than 160,000 square meters of gross exhibition space, including many live demos and product premieres. An extensive accompanying program provides practical insights and in-depth specialist knowledge, with special themed tours, specialist presentations, the renowned EuroBLECH Awards and a special career day for young professionals. EuroBLECH is the world's most important marketplace for sheet metal working specialists. Once again this year, the trade fair offers an exciting visitor experience at the heart of the industry, with four intensive days for product procurement, networking and further training. A strong international line-up of technology providers will showcase the entire sheet metal working process chain in 15 application areas. Visitors can look forward to nine large exhibition halls with thousands of exhibits and many live machine demonstrations. This year, everything revolves around future-oriented productivity solutions for greater efficiency and output - in keeping with the trade fair motto 'The Power of Productivity'. “The pace of innovation, especially in the areas of automation, robotics, AI and IoT applications, is currently enormous,” explains Evelyn Warwick, Event Director of EuroBLECH, on behalf of RX. “Digital technologies, connectivity and big data are making a decisive contribution here, as they enable greater efficiency, precision and real-time adjustments in the production process. This year's EuroBLECH will show how these pioneering technologies can be used optimally for your own production. Being well informed about new technologies is more important than ever - this is the only way to fully exploit the 'Power of Productivity' in terms of output, performance, costs and sustainability.” Living a culture of innovation: utilizing and promoting fresh impulses As the industry's leading trade fair, EuroBLECH has established a successful culture of innovation - this is where progress is driven forward and the future of the industry is actively shaped. This year, the trade fair will feature a wealth of young companies and first-time exhibitors. Visitors to the trade fair can benefit from a continuously growing variety of fresh ideas and technologies. Every fifth company in the halls is a new exhibitor, and the 'Young Innovators' pavilion in Hall 15 presents a whole range of promising start-ups from Germany. In addition to Germany, Italy, Turkey, China, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Sweden, India, Finland, France and the USA are among the most important exhibitor countries for 2024, with a total of 64% of all exhibitors coming from abroad. A total of 76 companies have been nominated for the prestigious EuroBLECH 2024 Award, one of the most important industry prizes for technical excellence and innovative strength. The official award ceremony for the six winners will take place on the first day of the trade fair at 5 p.m. in the presentation area in Hall 27. A new highlight of the trade fair are the Award Trails with all the nominated companies and their innovations. A total of six trails can be explored - one for each award category: stamping and forming technology, cutting technology, joining technology, surface technology, automation and handling, and sustainability. For visitors who want to further explore the potential of groundbreaking innovations, EuroBLECH offers guided themed tours. The focus will be on various types of productivity solutions from Amada, Libellula, OTC DAIHEN Europe, Panasonic Connect Europe, RICOThomas Castro Silva, SEYI Presses Europe, Voortman Steel Machinery and Wila, among others. At each tour stop, visitors can expect a short presentation by the respective exhibitor, followed by a short Q&A session. The themed tours can be booked online. The popular Speaker Forum celebrates its return with expert presentations on current key topics such as automation, robotics, cobots, IoT and industrial metaverse. The presentations will take place parallel to the trade fair in the presentation areas in Halls 26 and 27. A separate panel discussion on the topic of 'Automation as a means of combating the shortage of skilled workers' will take place on Wednesday, October 23, at 3 p.m. in Hall 26. Further information on speakers and the program will be published as preparations for the trade fair progress. Friday, October 25, is Careers Day to promote young talent in the industry. Apprentices and students are invited to visit the trade fair free of charge, allowing them to experience potential employers and current technology trends at first hand.
