Dabei sind Motor, präzise Lager und das Single-Turn-Absolutgebersystem integriert. Kompakter Direktantrieb mit hohem Drehmoment Der eigenentwickelte Direktan- trieb basiert auf der Magnetfluss- Technologie von Windradgene- ratoren. Daraus resultiert ein hohes Drehmoment bei niedriger Drehzahl. In Zahlen bedeutet dies ein 2- bis 3-mal höheres Dreh- moment bei gleichem Bauvolu- men im Vergleich zu einem kon- ventionellen Direktantrieb von Mitbewerbern. Bei kompakten Servo-Antrieben ist daher oft ein Getriebe erforderlich, um die ge- wünschte Drehkraft zu erreichen. Beim ROTAX ® Rxhq kann auf das Getriebe verzichtet werden. Dies bedeutet kein Verschleiß und da- mit höchste Präzision über die ge- samte Lebensdauer. Der Antrieb ist wartungsfrei und enthält keine Schmiermittel. Gleichzeitig sinkt der Lärm und der Wirkungsgrad ist höher. Weiter ist die Reakti- onszeit wesentlich kürzer als bei Getriebemotoren. Dieser Aspekt wird verstärkt durch ein geringes Massenträgheitsmoment, welches hohe Beschleunigungswerte er- laubt. Dies bedeutet kürzere Taktzeiten und höhere Produkti- vität, also auch geeignet für High- Speed Anwendungen. Mit den kompakten Abmessungen passt dieser neue Miniatur-Hohlwellen- Servomotor perfekt zum Baukas- ten der kompakten Linearmotor- Achsen von Jenny Science. Übergroßer Hohlwellendurch- messer Die durchgehende Hohlwelle von Ø 12 mm bietet großzügigen Raum für Kabel, Vakuum- oder Druckluftleitungen, Licht- und Laserstrahlen, Glasfasern und andere Medien. Vorteilhaft ist in diesem Zusammenhang auch die kurze Baulänge von nur 55 mm inklusive dem eingebau- tem Encoder. Das Anschlusska- bel besteht aus nur einer Leitung und bietet Vorteile beim Platzbe- darf der Kabelführung. Dank dem präzisen, vorgespannten Dop- pellager auf dem Frontflansch erreicht der Antrieb eine hohe Steifigkeit mit hoher axialer Momentaufnahme. Integrierter Encoder mit 120.000 Increment Typischerweise ist bei solchen Spezialmotoren ein externer En- coder erforderlich. Dies bedeutet größere Abmessungen und auf- wändigere Verkabelung. Deshalb ist beim ROTAX ® Rxhq bereits ein präziser Encoder eingebaut. Nebst den differentiellen A/B/Z Zählersignalen ist auch eine BISS Schnittstelle mit Single- Turn-Absolutposition verfügbar. Diese BISS Schnittstelle wird un- terstützt vom neuen XENAX ® Xvi 75V8S Servocontroller. www.jennyscience.ch ROTAX ® Rxhq – Miniature hollow shaft servo motor T he miniature hollow shaft servo motor ROTAX ® Rxhq (high torque) impresses with its extremely compact de- sign. Direct drive motor, precise bearings and the single-turn absolute encoder are completely integrated. Compact direct drive with high torque The self-developed direct drive servo motor is based on the magnetic flux technology of wind turbine generators. This generates a high torque at low speed. In figures this means a factor 2-3 higher torque with the same construction volume compared to a conventional direct drive of competitors. Compact servo drives therefore often require a gearbox to achieve the desired torque. The new RO- TAX ® Rxhq does not require a gearbox. This means no wear and the highest precision over the whole lifetime. The drive is maintenance-free and contains no lubricants. At the same time the noise is reduced and the ef- ficiency is higher. Furthermore, the reaction time is significantly shorter than with geared motors. This aspect is enhanced by a low rotary inertia which allows high acceleration values. This means shorter cycle times and higher productivity, so it is also ideal for high-speed applications. With its compact dimensions, this new miniature hollow shaft servo mo- tor fits perfectly with the modular system of compact linear motor axes from Jenny Science. Extremely wide hollow shaft diameter The hollow shaft of Ø 12 mm of- fers generous space for cables, vacuum or compressed air lines, light and laser beams, glass fi- bres and other media. Another advantage in this context is the short overall length of only 55 mm including the built-in encoder. The connection cable consists of only one cable and offers advan- tages in the space required for cable installation. Thanks to the precise, precompressed double bearing on the front flange, the drive achieves high rigidity with high axial torque capacity. Built-in encoder with 120,000 increments Typically, such special motors require an external encoder. This results in larger dimensions and a more complex wire installation. For this reason, the ROTAX ® Rxhq already has a precision encoder built in. In addition to the dif- ferential A/B/Z counter signals, a BISS interface with single turn absolute position is also avail- able.
